Most Luxurious U.S. Spas Offering Reiki (03/08)

Right now Canyon Ranch Lenox is offering a 6-day program titled Energy Awareness: Awakening the Healer Within conducted by Gary E. Schwartz, Ph.D., author of The Energy Healing Experiments and Director of Development in Energy Healing at the Canyon Ranch spas in Lenox and Tucson. I'd be there if I could afford the $1,000-and-up day rate at Canyon Ranch, and airfare to Massachusetts.

Canyon Ranch isn't the only luxury spa offering Reiki and other energy modalities. Of Forbes' 10 "Most Luxurious Spas in the U.S.," four offer Reiki, and all the others offer a massage that incorporates Reiki, "energy work" or "chakra balancing:"
