Going above and beyond "RMT" certification, Erik completed 8 Reiki courses over 4 years and has practiced Reiki professionally for 6 years. Before discovering Reiki, Erik studied Tae Kwon Do for 5 years, achieving Deputy Black Belt status and mastering his own ki. Erik's credentials include:
- Reiki Master/Teacher of "Western-Style" Usui Shiki Ryoho
- Shinpiden (Reiki Master/Teacher) of "Japanese-Style" Usui Reiki Ryoho
- Practitioner of Reiki Facelift, a technique developed by the Reiki Council
- Member of the Reiki Council
- Member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals
Reiki is an energy healing technique developed in Japan by Mikao Usui at the beginning of the 20th century. Loosely translated, "Rei-ki" means "universal life energy" and refers to the ever-present life force that is all around us. Reiki practitioners channel this energy and focus it on the areas where clients' require additional healing.
